Confession

I have a small confession to make.  I haven't printed photos in almost two years.  Other than a few to hang on the wall.  In fact, I look around my house and for having an interest/ hobby for photography, my walls are barren.  I can count on one hand the number of photos that I have taken, printed, and hung.
Why, you ask?  I don't know.
Sometimes, it is the money.  Other times it is the fear that when I print my photos, they won't turn out the way I have envisioned.
The sad thing is that I have a massive stockpile of photos that are just sitting in Lightroom waiting to be printed and smacked into our the girls photo albums.
I am overwhelmed with attacking this project of organizing the photos and actually printing them.  Where do I start?  Do I print the most recent photos and work backwards, or try to figure out where I left off and work forward?
What do you do to keep your photos organized and remember to print them?  I need some inspiration/direction.

Wish I could offer you some inspiration/direction but I'm the same way.

I guess for me it's that we put so much of our heart into the photos that I don't want them cheaply framed and it gets really expensive to do it right.

As far as scrapbooking, I'm just really, really bad at it. I still haven't started Madeleine's. Bad mom!

Just do it! I did Project 365 last year and got into the habit of printing photos almost every week. If I were you I'd just start at the beginning and work up to the present. Just get it done. Even if they are just put in an album, at least they will be printed and out so people can see them. That's what matters.

well its me said...

i agree with peggy. hpotos mean a lot more when they can be seen by others =)
ps: sorry to invade, but i find u inspiring

ha ha, I print stuff for other people probably because they are expecting it and I have a deadline... but I am at least 2 years behind on my girls.. so so sad. I am going to try to remedy the fact I haven't taken any pics of them in 6 months this month hopefully. good luck!
