Another Crazy month come and gone

So, here is my traditional monthly post. June seems to have flown by. It was a great month and we are already almost half way into July. Does anyone remember when you were a kid and the days and years seemed to creep slowly by. It seemed like we had all the time in the world. The worst was waiting for each Christmas to come. It always seemed like it would never happen. Now, as a grown-up (supposedly), it seems like I am still recovering from last Christmas and the year is half way gone. There are benefits to this though. Especially when I am waiting impatiently, of course, for a certain event. This is when it is good that time seems to have sped up, the older I have gotten.
Anyway, we had a great month. Busy of course, but great. Eden took swimming lessons for two weeks and absolutely loved every moment of it. This girl loves the water and cannot resist getting in it whether she is in a bathing suit or in her clothes. The odd thing is that lately she hates , no despises taking a bath and fights us every time. Maybe we could just let her run through the sprinkler and we can spray some soap on her in the process.....hmmm...that's a new idea.
We also had our annual Rasband Family camping trip. This was also a great time in which we were able to just relax and enjoy the out doors. This is one of the major benefits of living in Utah. There are beautiful camping places all over the state. That is something that I wondered about when I was in Texas. They didn't have mountains, so therefore the camping experience was dramatically different for me. I LOVE the mountains and the diversity that is found in this state.
Here are some pictures of some of June. There were so many other fun memories made, but this blog is already long enough.

Cute pictures! I love Eden's little chair. We keep saying we need to get Ellee one like that. About bath time...I COMPLETELY understand! Ellee's been SO awful lately--it's a battle every night. I don't get it. There's warm water, bubbles, toys...fun, but nope! She wants nothing to do with it.

Look how much Eden has grown! She is sooo beautiful:) Yes- camping in Houston is pretty flat- but as you move into the Hill country of Texas you can find some really pretty camping places! :) Nothing compares to Utah mountains though:)

Hey Andrea,

I can't believe how big Eden is getting. She is such a cutie, too. Also, congrats on the exciting news! I hope you are feeling well- can't wait to see the official blog about it. I love reading your blog- you are such a sweet family (and I think Eden has been photographed more than Princess Diana was, haha).

So fun to see an update! We've been doing the running through the sprinkler thing around here...but I hadn't thought of using soap! =) What a beautiful girl!

Oh how I miss the Utah mountains. That picture of Eden fishing makes me a little home sick. The background is beautiful. Eden is as cute as ever. Good luck with the baths. I wish I had some good advice but we haven't had to fight that one yet. Although, I may trade that one for the "never want to go to the bathroom" fight.

I miss Utah!! Everything is so accessible! I hear ya, Texas and Oklahoma are about as flat as you can get. I really do miss the mountains. Your pictures are beautiful and Eden is getting so big. Also, just wanted to wish Jeremy a Happy Birthday!! We are coming out on July 22nd for a 3week visit. Hopefully we can get together and let the kids play.
Miss you guys!

I also remember time seeming to stand still when I was a kid, and now it goes by in a flash. I am also still patiently... waiting for a certain event. Thankfully I have Gavin to keep me busy in the mean time:)

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I have so many fun memories with you. I loved having you and Eden come over all the time to hang out. If you missed a day, I was totally bummed. You were just so easy to talk to from the get-go. We just hit it off! If only we could have lived by each other longer! We also always loved going over and playing games with you and Jeremy! So much fun! And sharing recipes! I use your home-made Oreo one often. I also loved your enchiladas. I miss talking to you! I hope all is going well for your cute family! Thanks for being outgoing and becoming such a great friend to me.
