Peonies

I planted 3 Peonie bushes in one of my front flower beds this year. I decided to add these gorgeous plants to my yard after staring longingly at my neighbor's mature bushes that have been in bloom for weeks. I know we're told not to covet our neighbors things, but hey....now I don't have to.
Here is my first bloom that I cut from one of the three bushes. The scent of these makes me want to fill my yard with all of the different varieties. I think I will.

ps. if you're wondering how I was able to get such a black background...my kitchen table is black. It is becoming quite handy.

Baby Blues

I have been blessed to have 2 beautiful little girls. Both of them have these crisp blue eyes that are as wide open as they can get all the time. I guess she is making sure she doesn't miss anything.

Blue Eyes

Jeremy took this one. Impressive! I just darkened the background a little (I wish I could get it all the way black!) and saturated the colors a little. Very nice work, Jeremy. Isn't she adorable, by the way? She is growing so fast!

Kinda cool

This happened on accident. We were trying to take a picture of the two of us by holding the camera out in front of us. We didn't realize the it was zoomed in. So, this what we got. What do you think?

Another Favorite

I am on a Black and White kick lately, and i only have photos of my kids these days. I need to take a couple of hours and go try to be creative with the camera, but I don' t have a couple of hours to spare. So, I take photos of my girls. I think they make great subjects though.
