For months now, we have been meaning to go downtown to temple square so I could attempt to get a photo of the Salt Lake temple...where we were married 8 years ago. Yesterday was the day we had time. I was a bit weary of the weather because it was quite stormy, but we thought we would risk it anyway. It paid off big time! The sky was glorious and we only got a few sprinkles on us. It began pouring after we left....It was meant to be :)
Here are few shots from our trip:
Now, I know the two shots below are very similar, but I need your input. Which one do you like better? I plan to print one of these images onto a large wrapped canvas and display it in my home above my piano. I can't decide which one I like better. What do you think?

Glad you got your temple photo. :) I like giving Moroni a little more room so the bottom one get's my vote. That said. I'm sure this will look great over your piano. Congrats. :)
And remember the photo wraps around a little so you'll loose a bit of the image around the edges.
I agree, #2 gets my vote. But ... if you wanted to get creative, you could merge the two (add the bottom of #1 onto the bottom of #2, extending the size a bit).
I'm going to disagree with Rob (he'll be shocked ;). I like the first one. I love the green trees and that they ground the temple more. They look more like bushes in the 2nd shot which, to me, makes the temple look a little stubbier and almost floating. I also like where the dark blue sky hits the temple in the 1st one. I would also bring out the gold in Moroni and the plaque and delete the lights out of the window.
But if the wraparound doesn't work as well on the 1st one due to Moroni being closer to the top, then the 2nd one is gorgeous as well.
That's tough. I kinda like the first one more because I like seeing the doors of the temple and more of the trees. I would burn out the lights in the window on the right though. If you are doing a canvas wrap and don't have enough space around the edges you could add a border so that the sides of the canvas would be black or something. Then you won't lose any of your image. Great picture!
My vote is for the second one!
You are so talented! I am so impressed with all of the pictures that you take!
